Hari Morodekai ese Hadasa (ladana ta be Eseta), tamana lahaina natuna, vada e ubua, badina be tamana bona sinana vada e mase. Ia na hane namo mai hairaina; bena tamana bona sinana e mase negana ai, Morodekai ese e abia, ia natuna ai e halaoa.
He brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle’s daughter; for she had neither father nor mother. The maiden was fair and beautiful; and when her father and mother were dead, Mordecai took her for his own daughter.
